KONINGS takes over the HERO production site in Breda (The Netherlands) from the Swiss food and beverage company Hero.

2011

Jenever brand Smeets is sold off so Konings can focus on their core tasks. KONINGS takes over the LOOZA production site in Borgloon from the PepsiCo group.

2007

The Konings family sells KONINGS NV to 4 managers after a management buy-out.

2001

Smeets, one of Belgium’s top jenever brands, is added to the range.

1987

The take-over of TRUDO fruit juices heralds the start of fruit and juice production.

1970

Konings concentrates on the production of ciders.

1946

Michel Konings starts out as a one-man business with the production of distilled drinks.
